• From the list of options, browse the available flights, pick the one that suits your schedule and budget, and click on it. Make sure you read all the details carefully before proceeding.

The web check-in begins from 48 hours to 30 minutes before the scheduled flight departure. To complete the process:

Canadian North Baggage Allowance

• For checked baggage under Economy and Flex fares:

• Each item must not exceed 50 lbs.
• Your first bag, which travels with you, is free, while the second bag (for standby travel) costs $86.25 and the third $138.
• Additional bags, specifically the fourth and fifth, must be transported as cargo.
• Special rates also apply to items such as animals in the hold, which are charged at $230.
• Pets traveling in the cabin (stowed under the seat) incur a fee of $86.25.
• For bags weighing between 51 and 100 lbs, the airlines incur an additional $172.50 per item.
• Items exceeding 100 lbs are not accepted at check-in and must be shipped by cargo.
• Oversized baggage or items with combined dimensions exceeding 62 inches are chargeable at a fee of $230 per item.
• When a bag qualifies as both overweight and oversized, only the lower fee is applied.
• In addition, the Canadian North imposes a strict size limit on carry-on baggage. It must not exceed 22 lbs and  26 cm x 46 cm x 56 cm when flying with Jet. Whereas the limitations are 22 lbs and 23 cm x 41 cm x 46 cm when flying with Turboprop ATR42 and ATR72.

Can I Cancel/ Change My Canadian North Flight?

There's flexibility and ease in canceling or changing your Canadian North Airlines flight reservations.

For cancellations:

Passengers enjoy a free cancellation window if requested within 24 hours of booking and 7 days before the scheduled departure. Cancelling beyond 24 hours after that window costs approximately $100 per ticket plus any fare differences.

For changes:

Passengers can request certain changes on their flight reservations, including travel dates, flight times, and passenger details. Visit the Manage My Trip section or contact customer service directly.

If modifications are made within the free period, no additional fee applies. However, changes requested outside this window are subject to fees of $86.25 or $138 (depending on the fare type), along with any applicable fare difference. Can I Upgrade My Canadian North Flight?

Canadian North Airlines does not offer a flight upgrade option. According to the official website and other travel sources, passengers can only book Economy Class. There is no premium cabin option or upgrade program available at this time. If you require enhanced services, you may need to explore other carriers that offer multiple cabin choices.

Similarly, cancellation or alteration of bookings for service upgrades is not available.

Canadian North Flight Unaccompanied Minor Policy

Canadian North Airlines makes provisions for young passengers through clear guidelines for unaccompanied minors.

Young infants under two can travel for free with a stroller and car seat without an extra charge (with an accompanying adult).

Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult (aged 12 or above) and may benefit from a 10% discount on fares when traveling together. For unaccompanied minors aged between 5 and 11, the airline requires:

A responsible adult escorts the child to the check-in area and stays until the child is on board.

Confirmation that an adult will receive the child on arrival is mandatory.

A service fee of around $100 per direction applies, with a maximum of $115, and only one fee is charged per family if several UMs are included.
