Can I Cancel/ Change My Canadian North Flight?
There's flexibility and ease in canceling or changing your Canadian North Airlines flight reservations.
For cancellations:
Passengers enjoy a free cancellation window if requested within 24 hours of booking and 7 days before the scheduled departure. Cancelling beyond 24 hours after that window costs approximately $100 per ticket plus any fare differences.

For changes:
Passengers can request certain changes on their flight reservations, including travel dates, flight times, and passenger details. Visit the Manage My Trip section or contact customer service directly.
If modifications are made within the free period, no additional fee applies. However, changes requested outside this window are subject to fees of $86.25 or $138 (depending on the fare type), along with any applicable fare difference. The airline also reserves the right to adjust excess baggage handling on later flights if booking conditions change.
Can I Upgrade My Canadian North Flight?
Canadian North Airlines does not offer a flight upgrade option. According to the official website and other travel sources, passengers can only book Economy Class. There is no premium cabin option or upgrade program available at this time. If you require enhanced services, you may need to explore other carriers that offer multiple cabin choices.
Similarly, cancellation or alteration of bookings for service upgrades is not available.

Canadian North Flight Unaccompanied Minor Policy
Canadian North Airlines makes provisions for young passengers through clear guidelines for unaccompanied minors.
Young infants under two can travel for free with a stroller and car seat without an extra charge (with an accompanying adult).
Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult (aged 12 or above) and may benefit from a 10% discount on fares when traveling together. For unaccompanied minors aged between 5 and 11, the airline requires:
A responsible adult escorts the child to the check-in area and stays until the child is on board.
Confirmation that an adult will receive the child on arrival is mandatory.
A service fee of around $100 per direction applies, with a maximum of $115, and only one fee is charged per family if several UMs are included.

In-Flight Food and Beverages
After the COVID-19 update under its CN CARE initiative, Canadian North Airlines has reintroduced its in-flight food service with refreshments.
Canadian North caters to passengers with a warm, freshly cooked menu on all its flights. Every dish is prepared with locally sourced ingredients and balanced flavors.
The menu includes a selection of entrees, seasoned sides, and certain beverage options to choose from. There are both premium hot drinks and chilled refreshments available on all flights.
Additionally, on short-haul flights, passengers can choose light snacks to help round out the dining experience. Every option guarantees nutritious, satisfying food at altitude. Enjoy a truly memorable meal experience at 30,000 feet.
In-Flight Entertainment
Based on the official Canadian North site, there is no conventional in‑flight entertainment system with seatback screens. Instead, the airline supports a digital approach where passengers rely on personal electronic devices for entertainment. While some flights may offer Wi‑Fi access for streaming services and online browsing, a dedicated multimedia setup is not provided. This setup empowers you to create a custom entertainment experience during your Arctic journey.
