If you are flying with a baby under 2, there's no checked luggage on South American routes. But passengers on U.S. flights can bring one checked bag per infant.
Got more luggage? Extra bag fees start at R$12 in Brazil and go up to $150 for U.S. flights. Oversized or overweight bags and some sports gear, like bicycles or surfboards, also have fees.
Items like golf clubs or camping gear travel for free.
